You may say its just a wire, but without it what's the point of having Mini DV? I needed it otherwise I wouldn't get to transfer any of my home movies onto PC. I had a Firewire card but no cable so I bought this and it works fine. It works with high data transfer compared to an ordinary USB wire which costs loads more for a mini DV cam upgrade. Infact I would have needed to pay 80 pounds for software so that I could save movies with a USB connector.

What can I say about a Firewire cable? It works! This is probably the cheapest I have seen one of these. It's good quality, as you'd expect from Belkin and comes with their usual great warranty.

It's worked perfectly for me, every time, and it's considerably cheaper than other Firewire cables from high-street retailers.

This product is exactly what it says in the title; a 6pin to 4pin FireWire cable. Although the product is in mat grey as opposed to the semi-see-through colour, the product works perfectly.
Great price as well. I expected to pay at least triple what I did to get a FireWire cable but the price was very decent indeed.
Overall, a reliable product. I have used it many times without any problems at all. I strongly recommend this product to anyone.
