Transcend 16GB SDHC card + S5 reader October 7, 2008 tsl04 (UK) 10 out of 10 found this review helpful
I specifically wanted a 16GB card to go with my Panasonic HDC-SD9 camcorder. In my opinion, there's not much point going for anything smaller if you want to shoot in full HD - this card is good for 2 hours' recording at the highest quality HD and 4 hours at "normal" HD. Having used it quite regularly for about five weeks so far, the card seems to be of good quality - I regularly remove and replace the card, and there's no sign of wear and tear on the contacts, as you would expect. Having the USB reader is a very useful bonus. I already own one of those multi-card USB readers, so I didn't strictly need this as such, but because it is a dedicated SD-only reader it is obviously much smaller and slots easily into my camera bag. I use it a lot, not just to upload videos to my PC, but also to preview them quickly via my PS3 - the benefit of having a pen-drive-sized reader rather than the ubiquitous all-in-1 block really comes into its own then. Excellent product - heartily recommended.
it works fine September 2, 2008 bancomonkey (underground in the future....) 9 out of 9 found this review helpful
Hi. I bought this card for my canon hf100 and it works perfectly. I've used the usb adaptor to transfer footage to my pc and this also works fine. There isn't much else to add other than i payed 50 and now it's under 30 in less than a few months...bummer.
It works! August 9, 2008 wolkenlich 16 out of 17 found this review helpful
Bought this as additional memory for my ASUS - Eee PC 701 4G blue (UK version). The Transcend 8Gb SDHC Class 6 Flash Memory Card is listed in the QVL documentation that came with the Asus but I wasn't sure if the 16GB card would be ok. Both the card and the USB reader worked perfectly out of the box and my only gripe is that I have to unplug an adjacent USB slot on my PC when using the reader because it is so wide.
A piece of electrical equipment that works October 6, 2008 Miss NC Morris 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I bought this to go with my new camcorder: Toshiba Camileo Pro HD Camcorder The card reader is a must have because it avoids the need for computer cables. I am annoyed that it has come down in price from 28 to 22 in less than two weeks. Other reviews are accurate in saying that it is a little bulky, but it's not at all an issue. It works perfectly, that is all I ask.
Good card December 8, 2008 C. Oxinou (London UK) I had a ScanDisk Ultra 2 gig sd card in my Lumix FX18. But when shooting RAW it only did 100 or so pics, the Transend card seems just as fast and gives plenty of capacity for a good days shooting. The card reader works fine as well.
