Worked out the box with Linux (Kubuntu, Hardy Heron) with no additional drivers needed. Worked out the box with Windows XP SP2 once the drivers were installed. Very low profile, though don't let the picture fool you - all the silver plug is not hidden, about 7mm in total sticks out. Range and speed are equal to the "full size" adapter I also have.

Ordered this early on a Monday got it on the Tuesday, great service. Installed like a dream in WinXP(sp3), no issues, even picked up my phone and every device in the office I worked in. At the price I wasn't expecting much, thought I'd 'take a chance'...but no problems paired easily and didn't need to use the supplied drivers.
So small, leave it in and forget it. (only down side was: a pig to remove out of my dell lappy when I tried it due to its small size and tight fit).
Highly recommended.

tiny tiddly bluetooth dongly! just PERFECT. it fits into the usb slot and protrudes on the edge of my Dell Latitude D620 by about 3mm. pop it in and forget about it. unlike the last dongle that i forgot about and bent!
setup was easy, as was connection to my Treo 650. just what the Dr. ordered.

Absolutely superb... this little critter is about the size of your thumbnail. I took it out of the packaging and slotted it into my desktop and instantly (without any driver install) XP SP2 recognized it and then proceeded to attempt to pair up with my Nokia N95 mobile.
It comes with a driver disk and coms app that increases it's functionality. However whether you install this is up to you as it is not really essential.
I am surprised that some others complain that is sticks out from their machine, as the protrusion is so minimal it is not funny!
RECOMMENDED.
