The perfect Xmas Present November 14, 2007 Richard Price (Cardif) 101 out of 103 found this review helpful
It's very rarely I write a review, but having just received my Linx frame I feel compelled. I have read a number of the recent reviews and I felt I needed to put my 2 pennies worth in!, here goes: Positive Great quality screen, crystal clear and really does the pictures justice, I wanted something that could display my 10 mega pixel images correctly and it does the job. Controls - fairly self-explanatory although the manual is a bit clunky, I spoke to the Linx tech support and they were great (George), emailed some tips and sat with me on the phone while I went through the features. Battery - this is a must and all though I had it down as a wish, without it the product would have been a bit pointless as the first 2 people that saw it wanted to pick it up and play with it which you couldn't do without a battery. Sound and Video- wasn't sure about this feature but its great and worth having. Build quality - very sturdy and not like the ones I have seen in boots, but then they are cheaper and it shows. 4 different frames is a must!! Negative Not much to say, yes the manual is a little tricky, but with the tech support not an issue. Overall a great product and I would recommend, don't get suckered into the cheap and cheerful as a waste of time and money.

Great pictures and easy to use October 23, 2007 Stephen Draper (Sevenoaks, Kent, UK) 25 out of 25 found this review helpful
Picture quality is super, much clearer than a print would be in a frame of this size. I got this for my Mum's 83rd birthday, so it needs to be easy to use. If all the pictures are in the root directory of the memory card, just one button press starts the slide show (sequential/random and time delay settings are preserved from last time I set them). My photo software did a batch re-size and naming exercise on all the pictures I chose, so the pictures show in chronological order. Re-sizing means I can load over 4000 pics on a 1GB card, and they display much quicker, too. With CDs and emails coming in from all parts of the family, plus a load of scans of old snaps, it makes a really great present. I tried video. My editor is set to make DVD-ready MPEG2 videos, and these play directly, and look great. You need the frame in your hand to watch them, or you can use the supplied TV output lead.
Superb All Round Product - Worth every penny! November 13, 2007 denise010 (London) 25 out of 25 found this review helpful
What a fabulous piece of kit. A simply wonderful product. Nothing bad to report. Great quality images on this screen (reminds me of a flat screen TV). Many added bonuses eg plays videos/music and most importantly of all is portable - a great plus. Also lovely finish to the product - it is well made and solid feel to it. Endless possibilities with this - I put my favourite art images on it and have myself an art show! Worth every penny.
