Good pictures deserve a good frame July 25, 2008 Skater 21 out of 21 found this review helpful
I spent quite a bit on my Digital camera and ended up buying an SLR model because I wanted great picture quality. The images looked great on my PC but I wanted a photo frame that would show them to their best effect. I chose the Agfaphoto AF5080M mainly for its high resolution screen 800 x 600 Mpixels. This, combined with the 3:4 format gives fantastic image quality. The pictures are really sharp and good to view even from an angle. The 128MB internal memory means I can load up virtually as many images as I want, even at high res sizes so no need to plug in the memory card to show off my pics. The AF5080M frame also has built in speakers and will play music and movie files. The movie function is particularly good because of the great screen and image quality. Theres a handy remote control as well. All in all, a well thought out product and although the the price was little higher than some other frames I looked at, it was worth it to see my pics displayed as they should be.
Generally good... October 2, 2008 HoHum 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
On the plus side - it's 4:3, which is closer to most digital camera output than 16:9 frames. That's why I got one. The picture quality is good - but I don't have a bunch of others to put it up against. It's reasonably easy to use. didn't really need the manual. On the minus side, the 'slow' slide show changes every 5 seconds which is way too fast. You can slow it down by making it display several copies of the same file (credit to my son for that idea) but that's a bit limited by only 128MB of memory. It takes SDHC cards, so it's easy & cheap to add more bytes.
great frame, rubbish instructions! October 11, 2008 hh 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
this frame is great... the internal memory does work.. even if the instructions dont't tell you how to use it! (if you've bought one and cant get it working... try looking at the comments on the 1st review)
