Check with the camera manufacturer as having recently obtained an Olympus IR500 I read the manual which stated that 512MB was the maximum capacity. I contacted Olympus who were brilliant, they gave me a fast and concise response.
It works well, 1000+ photos at 4MP and no lag in response whatsoever.
I would recommend this card!

The only drawback with the 1GB XD cards is compatibility with certain cameras. There is a lack of clear information on which cameras can cope with the card. I took a chance and this card has worked fine with my Fuji Finepix E550. However, Fuji's own 1GB card states that problems may occur when used with this model of camera! Trial and error can be expensive. If you have a Fuji E550 you can order this with confidence!

What an excellent card!!!
It had to be to cope with my recent 3.5 week trip to Africa! Using it with my Fuji Finepix S5500 (4 million pixels) I took around 1000 photo's and there was still space on the card.

I decided to pay the bit extra for the 1gb card as i thought this would be very benefitial for me.
This for my 6.3 mega pixals camera is great.
it can hold up to 680 top 6.3 mp quality, and up to 8000 0.3 mp quailty pics on it. it also gives me up to 30 mins for video.
You will never run out of space again i think, which i did with my old 16mb card.
I do really recommend paying the extra for this.
