This camera is the business. Ibought for myself for my birthday in order to help me along with my college projects. It is extremely sleek and SMALL, it fits right into the palm of my hand. Don't let it's size discourage you though, the shots produced are amazing. The quality is great 4.x megapixils, extrapolated from 2.3 megapixils. The zoom function is also excellent. A very handy feature to have and although it adds to the cost somewhat, it is great to have. I found with other digital cameras that I sometimes had to scan in my pictures and zoom them from the scanned image, loosing quality along the way. 500 is a good bit of money to depart with for a camera in my books but this one is worth every penny. Thumbs UP!!

This camera gives realistic colour correction,and the best true black It's power is taken from 'normal size AA batteries' which is a big plus. Picture's are clear on the display, its simple and easy to navigate the functions. USB download is quick and simple with no special program to load. This camera gives the best value for money and worth the investment. Prints up-to 8" x 10" are possible to 35mm quality. It fits into your pocket and works well in all weather conditions

This camera produces excellent results in both the still and making small movies (avi files). Not only is the picture quality good but the speed of picture viewing, on the camera, and the USB upload are both good.I use the camera to capture notes from white boards and at the top, high end resolution, very fine detail can be captured without needing flash, indoors. It is also a very convenient size and shape and fits into the pocket reasonably easily -well if you've got large pockets. Also good software bundle.

I bought the 4700 for my wife at xmas after reading several dozen articals on digi-cams, this camera is brilliant. Ease of use, compact, photo quality, features,etc etc, all get 10 out of 10.
As i said, i bought the camera for my wife, but i just can't put it down. Great buy, great camera, well done Fuji.

Brilliant camera - I now can't live without it. Great for snapshots, short video clips and I couldn't do my web site development so easily without it.The quality of the pictures is excellent and it is easy to mix formats on the same card - ie video with diferent size/resolution pictures. Doesn't take up much room and always travels with me. Someone asked me this weekend "Are you ever parted from this camera?" The answer was no! Anyone like to buy a couple of nice film cameras, never used these day?!
