The Cullmann Suction Cup comes complete with ball & socket head, suitable for mounting cameras and camcorders to glass, plastic and other such surfaces. For example, they are frequently used by those taking in-car and in-flight videos. This is a very versatile product and can take a maximum load of 3kg. It can also be connected to the thread of the Cullmann 2741 Magic monopod or 2703 clamp.

I recently drove through France to Classic Le Mans in convoy with other classic cars and attached this to various interior and exterior panels attaching a small handheld Sanyo Digital video camera. The suction that the pad has and the hold the actual camera attachment has is exceptional.
Although at points of vibration through the road and at speed I was abit wary of the thing falling off under the car with 300 of camera attached was quite scary. this didnt happen once, make sure the surface is dust free, clean and dry before attaching. Once attached make sure that you can physically remove the stand by hand, then attach your camera, position and the tighten the mount.
On return i had around 2 hours worth of footage using this stand and it worked brilliantly.
If your and avid film maker on a budget or just want a bit of fun on a drive out on your motorbike or car this is ideal but make sure its attached securely for peace of mind.
One thing that is slightly dissapointing is that your limited by no extension arm for dashboard, windscreen mounting. I bought the "Hama
Table-Top Tripod with Removable Telescopic Tube". I attached the extendable tube to give better positioning and functionality. But remember when extended vibrations are larger on the camera.
