Product Description The DSLR-A350 has a high-resolution sensor for incredibly precise sharp images and a BIONZ processor to improve image quality and reduce noise effects. The sensor itself has a double anti-dust system for increased longevity so your shots will be as bright and rich in colour for years to come -- even in low lighting conditions thanks to the high sensitivity of 3200 ISO.

Better than the Cannon 450D October 8, 2008 R.Evans (UK Devon) 25 out of 26 found this review helpful
Ive just started A level photography and decided to buy a good camera. Stright away I thought of Cannon as they have a good reputation. I brought the Cannon 450D. After about 5 days it was just not what I was looking for, the live view wasent amazing and the standard lens was not good enough for the price I paid. I decided to go for the Sony a350. WOW what a differance, the live view was fantastic. The standard lens was great and the 14MP made alot of differance when zoomed in. Im very satisfied with this product, friends and teacher think its great.. I advice people to buy this product due to the simplicity of it and how it works. Hope this helped you choose between the two.
A great piece of kit August 16, 2008 Mr. A. J. Barwell 42 out of 45 found this review helpful
More pixels than you can shake a stick at, read the manual to find all sorts of tricks (although tinkering brings a lot to hand anyway). More intuitive than it first appears - menus are inevitable. Standard lens OK for general shots, but the 75-300mm zoom gives a lot more range particularly for outdoor shots. Spare battery and a few CF cards not a bad idea if you are going snap-happy, but will get hundreds on most cards. Viewing and deleting is very quick, no massive start-up time. Does need technical savvy as do most SLRs, otherwise use a regular camera. Flash card adapter for PC access would be a good accessory, as would simple bag - none supplied for a high end item like this.
