Excellent product November 6, 2003 166 out of 170 found this review helpful
This product is just superb! I chose it for a home-based business because of it's advanced features and neat design. The clarity of your OGM and played messages is excellent, with useful override features including VIP function, auto 1471, variable answer modes and memo function. If you want an answerphone independant to the phone unit, which I can highly recommend, then you will not go wrong with this product.
Very Good. September 2, 2006 Richard Allen 12 out of 12 found this review helpful
This is very good bit of kit. We already had a cheap digital answerphone, but I had a lot of trouble making sense of the messages. Bought this and what a difference! Very clear. Lots of excellent features too. An excellent buy.
Performance and value September 4, 2006 Paul Madge (West Sussex UK) 10 out of 10 found this review helpful
This is a very well specified answer machine which is compact in size and easy to operate. The VIP function lets you filter calls from "significant others" for attention. It is typical of most BT products, well thought out and built and a cut above most of the other makes on the market. Hard to fault, especially at the price and unreservedly recommended.
Well built, reliable, and does the job. September 25, 2007 Steve (Huddersfield, U.K.) 10 out of 10 found this review helpful
We have had one of these at work for a couple of years, and it's still going strong, which says something. Now we've bought a second one for another phone line. This machine is designed by BT and it shows. A clearly visible red button to delete calls, easy to use generally and I think a nice smooth design. It feels well built. My one complaint is that the standby battery (not supplied) is one of those odd things we used to call a PP9 I think. Why not standard AA batteries? Otherwise recommended and good value. POSTSCRIPT: Shortly after writing the above, one of our Response 75 answerphones died. Now another Response 75 has died (within about a year). I spoke too soon about reliability; clearly there is a problem here which BT ought to sort out. Very disappointed. I would only give one or two stars now.
Forget 'free' kitchens and UPVC windows! November 21, 2006 Ian Colley (Cheshire, England.) 5 out of 6 found this review helpful
You only get one life, why waste precious time fending off nuisance calls? [Think about it...you don't get those minutes back]. I rate this answering machine as a design classic for simplicity in use, quality, and features. Straightforward to use, space saving, and does just what it says on the box...plus. Buy one today, and just speak to the callers YOU select!
