Product Description Give your favourite photos a permanent place on your desk with the DPF-D70 from Sony. This digital photo frame is the perfect way to view and share your memories in bright colour on a 7-inch LCD screen. Its 256 MB internal memory means you can store up to 500 photos and display them in HD quality, while its memory card reader, which is compatible with the most common formats such as Memory Stick, Memory Stick Duo, SD, MMC, CompactFlash, MicroDrive or xD, gives you even more storage space. Thanks to its intelligent sensor, the DPF-D70 automatically turns the image to the most appropriate viewing angle, and there is even an HDMI socket, ideal for connecting your HD TV for giant-screen slideshows. An automatic editing mode also lets you add those finishing touches to your photos!

Well worth the extra August 21, 2008 Chris Waring (UK) 91 out of 94 found this review helpful
Great photo frame with several extra features, ranging from multiple views including a clock / calendar showing when photos were taken, various slide show settings for multiple pictures etc to being able to turn on or off the sony logo. I find the 256 MB ample for a good few photos that I'd like displayed regularly, then there's a variety of card slots for running through off a digital camera. Above all the extras it's a great single view photo frame, great resolution and really simple to use.
Good build quality December 6, 2008 Paul Ell (NI, UK) 15 out of 16 found this review helpful
This is currently, December 2008, the cheapest of the Sony LCD photo frames and Sony themselves are selling it for 20 more. It has a wide range of features to display photos and a fair amount of internal storage so you're unlikely to need to buy a new memory card. The build quality is excellent and the picture clear. The frame is attractive but, as other reviewers have commented, the screen does reflect light from table lamps for example so needs to be positioned with some care. If you want a premium quality photo frame at a reasonable price this is the model to go for.
Quality product with very good results December 26, 2008 A. Seymout 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Have just received this as a Christmas gift (albeit, specifically requested) and I am very impressed with it. In common with the other reviews, this is a high quality piece of hardware and produces very good results for the price with many useful features to enhance the viewing experience. Like others, a rechargeable unit would make it a little better, but that has to be set against remembering to charge it and moving it to a charging point anyway so it's not too much of a problem. And yes, a wireless set up would save some inconvenience in adding/editing files, but for the price, neither feature is going to be available on a product of this quality. If you don't have a mini USB cable already, it would be a little annoying to find that one isn't supplied, but most folk with a computer and digital camera (without which this product is limited in use anyway) are likely to have a suitable cable in their arsenal of bits. I would recommend this product to anyone considering a digital photo frame.
Sony Digital November 18, 2008 WAC PERERA 11 out of 21 found this review helpful
As you have experience before with Sony TV, Digital Camera's this is a great product from Sony. Good picture quality automatic rotation with censor control. Multiple storage supported and different previews you can setup give you great values to your pictures and nice gadget to your room. It's worth for the money you spend. I would like if it adds following features in next model Sony release, - Wifi connectivity to share pictures remotely - simple mp3/mpg/mp4 player where you can have some background music while watching pictures or watch divx movies when you way from home ;) - may be usb power input and handling where you can plug keep it near your PC/laptop with out additional power adaptor makes it really neat. - if it comes as dlna certified product would be really cool
