Great value April 5, 2008 A. Davies (Wales, UK) 64 out of 65 found this review helpful
I had a Trust webcam for 7 odd years so decided to get a new one to go with Windows Vista. I only use a webcam for conversations on MSN messenger, so I wasn't looking for anything fancy. Just something that gives a clear picture and is easy to set up. This was all of those things. So if like me you just want something basic that gives a good quality picture then this webcam will suit your needs.
Great! July 13, 2008 Mr. A. G. Leavers 18 out of 18 found this review helpful
This camera is great for chat. The quality is great and it has a great intake of light, so unlike some cameras this one works really well in dimly lit rooms. If your looking for a web camera. This is the one you want :)
It just works August 1, 2008 JenthePen 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
We set the webcam up in 5 minutes and it just works. We bought it for XP and Skype compatibility, and have had absolutely no hassles with it. Worthwhile buy.
wicked... well worth the money August 9, 2008 D. Marra 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
Before i had a creative webcam and it wasnt very good, so i decided to buy a new one. i only wanted a basic webcam as i used it for msn chats. And im glad i picked this cam as its the best ive used, its clear, and has a good intake of light,so if the room is dim, the picture wil still be clear. It is well worth the money, so i suggest it highly.
Great value - perfect for Window Messenger August 7, 2008 J. Fieth (Cambridge, UK) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
After having had much more sophisticated and expensive Logitec and Philips webcams on previous PCs, I needed a new webcam to go with Vista. That limited my choice immediately and it was down to this one and one other - this one won on price initially and the fact that I only need it to use with MSN Messenger. This is perfect for that - it is easy to set-up, very clear picture and the sound is okay (not brilliant quality but it wasn't with the more expensive cameras). The only slight hiccup is that the cable it quite short and so it's not quite where I want to position the camera. But picture quality is great for chatting and some of the fun effects you can use on your picture make for good entertainment for children. I had a problem with getting sound but this is to do vista not the webcam - you need to start an audio call first and then start the camera, not start a video call. Would definately (and have) recommend this for a lower priced chatting webcam.
