A fun little printer July 3, 2008 Mr. S. L. Smith (Manchester, UK) 8 out of 9 found this review helpful
My pogo arrived today and I'm very pleased with it. I had read a few early reviews from various sited that said that colours were either washed out or not a true representation of the actual image so I didn't have very high expectations of it. The prints that I have done so far either meet or exceed my expectations of it, some have turned out very close to the original shot, others are sometimes slightly too yellow or red in places. If you buy this printer as a modern replacement for the original Polaroid instant cameras then you won't be disappointed as they too were never renowned for their photo quality. It's a neat little printer that does what it's intended for well, having fun with instant prints. If you are wanting something that gives the same quality prints as a regular photo printer then look elsewhere.
Must have fun August 24, 2008 Mr. B. Klacansky (Bedford, UK) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Wauu, this is a gadget!!! Got it as a present and very very satisfied. I took it to a party and forgot the charger at home. Nonetheless still could manage to print 17 pictures on one battery charge- wauu. Most importantly I wrote my number on the back of one funny image print and gave it to one good looking girl there. Guess what? I am not single anymore :)) I just hope Polarid will manufacture more gadgets like this.
fun little gadget! July 18, 2008 LouJ (UK) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I was given this PoGo by my hubbie. Wasn't sure if I would use it but it is so good. It prints out little photos which are really fun and purse sized. I took it to the pub and printed out photos of our dogs to show friends - I took the photos on my Samsung mobile and sent them over - really quick and once i had put the code it, it was pretty simple. If you are worried about the size of the photos, it is not a home printer so if you are looking for big photos, this won't be for you. But it is great fun and the photos are actually pretty good quality. Finally my husband has got me something I will use!
Fun but fragile and do not have too high quality expectations July 3, 2008 R. Garsthagen (London, UK) 4 out of 6 found this review helpful
Hi, I just received 2 pogo's today (one is a present for my sister) and have had a play with them. The innerworks is very fragile. I accidently softly dropped on and the metal plate inside that keeps pressure on the paper got loose, which took me some time to fix again. The actual print quality is ok, the colors are not very accurate but the end result is a fun sticker, which was much smaller then I expected. My desk is now full of funny pictures stuck to the wall, so I am enjoying the device. To print to it was very easy, picbridge by connecting my digital camera to it worked fine, but also the bluetooth mode by just sending it a file from my laptop or phone worked great. (no need to set it up as printer), just send it a file.
