Double the gigs for a tennerSeptember 22, 2008 Mr. K. Carter(Kent) 65 out of 70 found this review helpful
I recently bought the previous generation 4Gb Nano for my wife and she was very pleased with it. I wanted one for myself and was about to purchase one when I saw the new version was launched. I was surprised that you could get 8gb for only 10 more than the old 4gb version. I bought the black one and I am glad to say I am delighted with it.
The only thing to note is that you need to have version 8 of ITunes installed once i upgraded it was plain sailing.
I particularly like the ability to shake the Ipod to shuffle the tracks. I note there are other new features so I shall be experimenting.
Would recomend the purchase.

I have read the descriptions and I must say so far it looks something special. A big improvement over the 3rd generation and now it has an accelerometer and voice recording along with making it slimmer than the 2nd generation. I am really looking forward to getting one.
Great little nano.November 28, 2008 C. Pinckard(Darwen) Hi just just set this 4th gen nano up today. But before i did i downloaded "i tunes 8". Then it was so easy it sync all my songs on to the "i tunes" on the pc. Then i plugged in the nano and that was that all done. I had no problems with it charging on my little hifi. i have an "ISYMPHONY M1 UK" which does everything and im very happy with it. Overall better than i thought and no problem with charging it.
