Small but perfectly formed! December 8, 2005 Mr. P. De Caux (UK) 50 out of 50 found this review helpful
I have resisted the PDA "revolution" because all I have ever needed was an electronic version of my diary and one that linked up with my PC address book. If it could shout at me before a meeting, stop me from missing birthdays, then all the better. However, I was not keen on spending a great deal of money to achieve this! Then along came the Palm Z22, a cut-down version of its siblings, offering full synchronization with Outlook. It shouts at me in good time for any event in my life, has a couple of games to while away boring journeys and has lots of extras to help organise my life. It also looks quite cool with its "ipod"-like white finish and is easy and intuitive to use. I would recommend it to anyone who wants a decent PDA but is not interested in expansion, GPS or bluetooth capabilities.
Good value for money July 25, 2006 NikTheGeek (UK) 46 out of 46 found this review helpful
Firstly, I've had PDA's for years. Psion, Palm, Treo, and various Windows ones. My current PDA (before this) was an all singing and dancing Windows Mobile one with Bluetooth and WiFi. Trouble is, with WiFi on the battery would go flat and you couldn't get a day out of it. Then the other week, I returned from a 2 week holiday and the PDA was flat again. Another full restore from backup. So I decided to get a simple organiser. No frills, no wifi and most importantly: a non-volatile memory so if it runs flat I don't loose anything. To sum it up, it is great for the money. If you want to sync your calender items/emails/tasks with your pc at home or at work then you can't go wrong. If you want a pocket PC to do everything on then don't get one! I like it and I'm sticking with it as it does it's job just fine.
Fab first PDA December 2, 2005 40 out of 41 found this review helpful
I am not much of a PDA geek, but i wanted a simple product to sync with my outlook calendar - so I don't miss any more meetings! I have had this for a couple of weeks now and its saved me a few times already!! The sudoku games which comes with it is also really addictive, and can pass way many ours on the train. Overall a great little devise which i now couldnt live without...buy one!
Excellent gadget for the price January 17, 2006 13 out of 13 found this review helpful
I've been using a Psion Revo for years and it was the best PDA design going, such a pity they stopped making them. Anyway it died and I needed a replacement. Since nothing has a decent keyboard like the Revo anymore I decided not to bother with the word/excel type stuff and went for this basic Palm. For the price it's hard to fault, I found it easy to lean the menu system and the handwriting method of input doesn't take long to master either, I'm sure I'll get faster as I get more used to it. It doesn't do anything particularly flash but then it's not going to confuse anyone either, nice and straightforward, if you can use Outlook you can easily use this and a bonus over the Revo is that it doesn't lose all of your stuff if you let the battery go flat.
Brilliant - Does just what it says on the box September 26, 2006 Ultimatesmurf (Sheffield, England) 20 out of 21 found this review helpful
I was sick of carrying round a large diary, notebook and contact booklet and wanted something to keep me organised that wasn't going to require a lot of training or be difficult to use. Its brilliant. Yes you can't write your essays on it or download your e-mails but it is the best thing i've bought this year. The battery lasts ages and its so easy to sync with the PC that i really won't be without it. The free Suduko game is addictive and the advice booklet which looks very short covers everything you need. The ability to colour tasks and see at a glance the week ahead is incredibly useful when you're working on a number of projects at once. Overall its brilliant and i would recommend it to anyone.
