I use the USB cradle at home for fast synching of web pages, but this one is great for connecting to my work laptop which runs NT4 and therefore doesn't support USB connections.
Just as easy to use but slower data transfer, as you'd expect from a serial cable.

... but be warned that the IPAQ conneted via a serial cable is an incredibly slow way to connect back to your PC.
