There Was An Old Lady Who Swallowed A Fly......and copious other creatures, much to the three year old's delight. Great pictures and you view what she has swallowed through a hole of ever increasing size. "Mama, they're in her tummy!" He loves running his finger round the wiggly die cut holes where the repeat lines appear. He loves giggling at the tickly spider. It's not the sort of book you need to encourage them to get involved with - they just do! A lovely version of this old classic song and one that gets the cry of "do it again" at least three times every time you read it. Great fun. Enjoy it!

I remembered reading this book to my sister when she was a baby (20-odd years ago!) and thought that I'd buy it to read to my 2 1/2 year old daughter. My little girl loves it, she likes the fact you can see what she's eaten and best of all she loves shouting at the end of every page "Perhaps she'll die!"

Excellent book, I enjoy it as much as my 2 year old daughter. This book has been around since I was small and in my eyes is a definite classic. The pitures are bright and colourful and my daughter has been learning the animals along with the story too. She still can't believe how fat the woman is at the end!!!!!!!

Both mums and kids can have a fab time when reading this book, i found tickeling the kids when telling them about the spider adds fun to it.Both my 1 and 3 yr old love this book and want it read to them over and over again
