This is an excellent resource for both classroom use and for setting homework/personal revision. It sets out clearly which exam boards it covers ie. AQA, Edexel & OCR. However, it is also very useful and relevant for other boards too. There is much in this book which could also be used in the classroom for Key Stage 3 work. For example the Sermon on the Mount page, Religious Symbolism and Festivals etc. are all so clearly and interestingly explained.
As with other subjects in this series, this book is colourful & highly readable. I'd recommend teachers to use class copies and pupils to also get hold of one!
The only fault I really have is that it only covers Christianity, Judaism & Islam! But then the information on these 3 major world religions is detailed.
I'd love to see another published in the same style covering Sikhism, Hinduism & Buddhism!
