Amazon.co.uk Review "Each Peach Pear Plum. I spy Tom Thumb!" In this engaging, interactive book for the very young, familiar nursery-rhyme characters such as Mother Hubbard and Baby Bunting sneak their way into the gentle drawings. Even young children who might not know all the fairy-tale stars can find them lurking in the cupboard, on the stairs or deep in the woods. In the happy finale, the whole cast meets up for plum pie in the sun, where the little one on your lap will gleefully find everyone.

fantastic, catchy and an instant favourite September 25, 2000 emma@wilcox.net (London) 28 out of 29 found this review helpful
This was given to our 2 year old and within days became a favourite (had to go to bed with it, take it in the car etc). The catchy words and detailed pictures which invite exploration make it a book with many layers. With so many references to other childhood rhymes and stories it ensures parents never get bored either.
Simply excellent July 16, 2006 Mrs. Nicola L. Ott (Malawi, Africa) 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
My daughter who is now 2 loved Peepo! by the same authors when she was 1 and now at 2 loves Each Peach Pear Plum. In fact, these continue to be her favourite books and though I introduce other titles she still goes back to these again and again. What's great is their simplicity, the beautiful, slightly old-fashioned illustrations and the rhyming story which my daughter finds she can repeat. In a country where we have limited access to books these really were a find. My only additional recommendation would be to buy the hardbacks - they last longer.
A gorgeous book to share July 15, 2006 A. Matthews (Wakefield, England) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I wasn't tempted by this book but someone else bought it for my son and it has become a firm favourite. The illustrations are gorgeous and the fact that he knew most of the characters already caught his interest straight away. It is great to see him find the hidden characters and he can hardly wait for the end when they all appear together. I have decided to buy this as a birthday present for every child I know!
Read this as a child September 13, 2006 S. Greaves (UK) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I read this book when I was in nursery school and 20 years on I still love it, this is one that my children will read. The rhyme is simple yet effective, the pictures are beautiful to look at and enjoyable as you follow the story and find the characters. A must have in every family.
I enjoyed this as much as my son December 6, 2000 adrian@afolland.freeserve.co.uk (Northants England) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
This is one of the best childrens books I have found for my two year old. The illustrations are lovely and the concept is as intriguing for adults as a child, in each picture you have to look for a glimpse of the next nursery character hiding somewhere. The repetition is really comforting for a toddler and within a few nights this had become a regular part of the bedtime routine. My son is particularly lively and often prefers to be tearing around the room, this book, however, he finds fascinating and peaceful, a perfect find!
