Christmas songs for ‘children’, grouped together especially to help teachers create the Christmas story. Filled with selected songs, ranging from traditional (e.g. Winds through the olive trees, Little Donkey, Girls and boys leave your toys, O Christmas tree, The first day of Christmas, We wish you a merry Christmas) – to newer pieces - 43 in total.
The tunes and their piano accompaniments have been kept as simple as possible and other instruments can be added when desired.
Yes, this is a cute songbook which is fun to teach and enticing for the children they are written for. The songbook get's away from the same traditional tunes we all hear over and over...in Christmas plays!
