She just gets better!!! August 9, 2007 K. Gregory (UK) 23 out of 24 found this review helpful
I have been reading Susan Lewis books since she first started writing and I must say that this book was one of the best Ive read. She seems to have got better the more she writes. This book is filled with believable characters that you empathise with immediately. The story and plot were fantastic and I loved this one so much I read it in a day and a half. If you've never tried reading Susan Lewis before.....start now.
Susan Lewis's best..... February 8, 2008 D. Thalmann 8 out of 8 found this review helpful
This book deserves a place in any top 10 book list. It is a superbly clever and intricate story, with many twists and turns. I was gripped from the first page, and was trying to make this book last as long as possible - I couldn't bear it to end! It was exciting, funny, tender and sad, all rolled into one. A masterpiece. This book is by far the most superior of Susan's books - a wonderful, wonderful read. Hope there is more of this type coming from this author, who has not always produced quality such as this.

This book is marvellous, Susan Lewis gets better and better. I have all her books and loved every one. The stories are so believable and well written. All the characters were good and the stories behind the scenes, like him finding out about the son he didn't know he had when he had an affair, his daughter's story was good too, and none of them deterred from the fact that Miles's wife was missing and that was the main story. I hope there are many more to come.
Throughly good read January 6, 2009 Kathleen A. Reid (Scotland) I have just finish this book. It has been my read over this Christmas hols. It was brilliant! Reading some of these reviews I wonder if we were reading the same book. When you are reading a "paper back novel" its a story! Enjoy it as such don't tear it to pieces. It was a very enjoyable story, looking forward to the next one .
worth a read October 3, 2008 Mrs. E. S. Powiecki 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I have read all of susan lewis's books, This book has a good story line, and was quite an enjoyable read, although at times became stale in parts, and little hard going, not the best book shes ever written, but wont put me off reading any of this authors future novels.
