I was slightly concerned when buying this racket as it had a "traditional" oval head shape, which is far less forgiving than previous isometric rackets I had started playing with. However on using the racket I found my shots to be a lot punchier and more precise than they had been with the iso racket. On inspection I found my old racket to be quite close to an oval shape despite being "iso". This racket did take a while to get used to compared to a "yonex" iso racket but the results were worth it (until it broke).
Despite the airblade being very head light I have found my smashes to be more powerful and more accurate (due to being able to swing it faster). The biggest improvement came in net shots and defense however. The racket is very light so there is very little momentum carried through sudden movements so the racket head always goes where you wanted it to. This does mean it requires more effort on clears which were a little short at first. It is also easy to generate a very fast racket head speed in a short swing making for some very good deceptive shots.
I would recommend restring the racket as soon as you get it though, I found the strings lacking in feel and power. I am very pleased with this racket and would definitely recommend it to anyone.
