Super cool Nursery Rhymes January 30, 2007 Andrew P. Hodson 30 out of 30 found this review helpful
This is a really cool collection of well-known nursery rhymes like I've never heard before. On the cover they are described as having 'a modern twist' which in reality means they have some very funky versions of classic rhymes and this works well. They use lots of different styles of music such as Jazz and Reggae through to more traditional sounding recordings that makes it interesting to listen to for both my little one and us parents!
Possibly the best kids music CD....ever! March 12, 2007 Mr. N. M. Shmuel (London) 17 out of 17 found this review helpful
At last a nursery rhyme CD that doesn't drive my wife and me mad! This is some of the best kids music we've ever heard and our two year old can't get enough of it. As soon as she hears the last song she wants me to put it on again (and again!). Super.
The Whole Family Loves This Album!!! May 16, 2007 Emily Simons (UK) 12 out of 12 found this review helpful
Yes it's true, we all love this album. We have got two little ones (the eldest is 3 and my baby is 9 months old) and they both like the music as much as each other. As soon as I put it on they both start to bounce around with a smile on their face - it's a pleasure to watch. Why is this album so good? I'm no musical expert but the tunes are all fun and different to the usual stuff you normally have to listen to. There is a wide range of musical styles which means that it doesn't get boring and if I'm honest I really quite like it myself. I promise, you will never sing `Jack & Jill' in the same way again! I have already bought this CD for a few birthday presents and everyone who has listened to it has become as hooked as we are.
Super, Fab, Great!!! June 1, 2007 A. Woolf 10 out of 11 found this review helpful
I can't say enough good things about this album. It's so fun to listen to and really deserves all the positive reviews I have read. I recently put it on when I had a few friends around with their little ones and it was amazing to watch all the babies bobbing along to the music. Everyone I know who has listened to it seems to have a different favourite track and mine has to be `Mary had a little lamb'. It's the opening song and as soon as it starts to play my little ones eyes light up (and that is enough for me to make it the best!) I would say that this album and `Big songs for little ones' are by far the best two nursery rhyme CDs on the market. Get them both and you will never need anything else to listen to!
The Best Nursery Rhyme CD October 11, 2007 Eileen Mcglone (UK) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
This is quite simply the best nursery rhyme CD I have heard. All of the songs are really fun and the whole family loves to listen to it. Top marks!
