'Stop in the Name of Pants!' review July 6, 2008 Ellie (UK) 7 out of 9 found this review helpful
This book is really funny. Louise Rennison continues to make readers laugh in thins book. Georgia Nicolson a teenager in need for love is desperate to settle things out between the two boys that she is inlove with: the lurve god and dave the laugh. It is hysterical and i defoinately recomend it for girls aged 13-16!

Well, where to begin? A fantastic book! In my opinion this one is much funnier and a better page turner than the last book (Luuuurve is a many trousered thing...). There is a constant action going through the background of this book, which is great, especially as I thought the books had gone downhill since the 3rd book. There are lots of exciting things happening in this book. Also I love the cover! Futhermore the book is alot thicker than the rest in the series. A must buy for all 11-15 year olds!

Another great book for the series. This book took me to a new place, i had a tear in my eye at one point and also the ending wasn't an earth shattering cliffhanger which i need to know the conclusion too straight away either. After a couple slow books to set the scene i believe the next one is going to be laugh a minute with Georgia getting herself into even more trouble and funny moments. I can't wait. I'm 25 and have been reading these since high school and they still make me chuckle as its a reminder of how your brain worked at that age. These have been labelled as children's books but any adults out there who are open to remembering what its like to be a teenager will love these.
The Italian Stallion or Dave the Laugh? July 1, 2008 Ms. Jenny Davies (UK) 14 out of 17 found this review helpful
'Stop In the Name of Pants' is, in my opinion, funnier than the last volume in the Confessions of Georgia Nicolson. This time, Georgia isn't choosing between Robbie & Masimo, but rather Masimo & Dave. She has all the usual mishaps and embarrassing moments, as well as a few impromptu serious ones. Fans of the series won't be disppointed with this book, and I look forward to the tenth installment!
