Not like any cookery book I have used before January 3, 2008 moodyold blue (Sussex . UK) 35 out of 36 found this review helpful
Excellent companion volume to the idiot proof Diet but empahtically not a substitute for it.Had been lucky enough to try some of bees recipes before and not only do they help you lose weight but they got me back in the kitchen. Her love of cooking is infectious and this book fizzes with bright ideas.Book itself is beautifully produced
The easiest and tastiest lo carb diet food! January 18, 2008 C. K. Peers (West Sussex) 24 out of 25 found this review helpful
A few years ago I tried a lo carb diet, and though the results were good, didn't keep me interested enough to stay on it. Bee, India, and Neris have created many fantastic recipes, that are not hard to make, but extremely tasty, and keep your tastebuds (and tummies) satisfied. Its also not all meat meat meat like on other diets, but is balanced with lots of veggies and salads too. Thank you for such a great book!
Brilliant January 9, 2008 Rena Ruadh (Edinburgh) 19 out of 20 found this review helpful
This is a wonderful addition to the diet book. The recipes are absolutely doable - you don't need to be a Michelin star chef to follow and cook delicious food. In fact, this is one of the most important aspects of this book: easy-to-follow recipes that don't take up ages in preparation time. This suits the busiest person who doesn't have hours to prepare and cook and the relatively inexperienced cook. Congratulations to Bee, Neris and India!
Why thank you...a do-able cookery book! January 13, 2008 lauralush (England) 15 out of 16 found this review helpful
What a superb book, fantastic recipes, and completely delicious food that I have been happily feeding to friends and family NOT IPDing...they think I'm a Goddess!!!! Losing weight brilliantly with the original diet book, and this is the low carb cherry on the carb free cake! Thank you so much to the authors, and looking forward to the next production!
The best low-carb cookbook I've read January 8, 2008 darkblue (france) 21 out of 23 found this review helpful
This book is full of inspired recipes, equally as appealing to non-dieting folk as to low-carbers. The sections on breakfast, canapes and quick meals are brilliant and Bee Rawlinson has surpassed herself. I have made and liked many of her recipes on the Idiot Proof Diet forum, and the additions in this book are just as good if not better. The extra information on the "whys and wherefores" of low-carb eating is a good compliment to the Idiot Proof Diet book, and Neris Thomas' illustrations are a delight.
