One of the best videos I have come across April 28, 2007 Chloe (Lisboa - Portugal) 38 out of 39 found this review helpful
One of the best videos I have come across....very fast, high impact and practical! No complicated moves and the instructor is encouraging without being annoying...definitely recommended! 5, 10 minutes sections: SLOW and STEADY BURN: A fun and basic low impact aerobics. A good starting point. CARB KILLER: cardio kickboxing, punches and kicks. POWER BLAST: Cardio with intervals of low and high intensity moves such as jumping moves and sports type drills, such as skiing and running through tires. This is hardest section. INTERVAL BURN:This segment deffinatly takes you back to the basics you squat, lundge and crunch to tone your whole body. Also ab work. METABOLISM BOOSTER: Total body weight training segment. Scuplt your body and build muscle. Bottom line: Get this DVD for your cardio workout if you want to work hard and sweet. The flip side of the 10-minute format is the time crunch. This workout does not waste a single second - even for things that deserve a little extra time like stretches.
not a second wasted !! September 23, 2007 Fitness Suz (North Yorkshire) 14 out of 15 found this review helpful
I've become addicted to the "10 Minute" DVDs. This one lives up to expectation. Each 10 minute section keeps you moving throughout but by varying the bodyparts worked and often using upper and lower body together, you get a great workout without noticing the time. My skin is soaked without feeling like I can't carry on!! Really gets the heart rate going. I particularly love the way you can pick and choose each day which sections you want to do and in which order to do them. I usually finish up with one or more of the "10 minute" yoga or pilates DVD sections for a great cooldown/stretch. The combinations are endless and by doing ten minutes at a time you can push yourself to keep doing an extra section, often ending up doing more exercise than you thought you had the energy for !!. Great value and variety.
Great workout! November 30, 2007 Ms. J. E. C. Robinson (Surrey) 8 out of 9 found this review helpful
This was the first 10 Minute Solution DVD I purchased and its still my favourite, despite the ones I have bought since. I like the exercises, they really get your heart-rate going and the instructor is good and motivating you. I use this one for an intense cardio workout - I feel great afterwards!
GREAT SET OF WORKOUTS FOR BUSY LIVES! January 18, 2008 Nana Agyeman (Surrey, UK) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
THIS IS A MUST BUY FITNESS DVD. SPLIT INTO 5 SECTIONS, EACH SECTION REALLY GETS YOU WORKING HARD. I DID 30MINUTES THE FIRST TIME, DIDN'T EVEN NOTICE THE TIME. WOULD RECOMMEND YOU STRETCH FOR A BIT LONGER AFTER A LONGER SESSION, BUT ALL IN ALL GREAT CARDIO WORKOUT!!!
One of the best workout DVDS February 11, 2008 Rachmc (London, UK) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I bought this DVD a few weeks ago and I love it. Cardio is my least favourite form of exercise but breaking it up into 10 minute intervals makes the time fly. Because you can mix and match routines it means you're not doing the same boring exercises every day too which I love. The best thing about this dvd is there is a lot of toning based exercises so even though you're working off fat, you're still toning arms, thighs and butt. (I still do pilates dvds though) It would be good if there was a warmup/down section, but you can do it yourself easily. It's great there's no annoying people in the background, just the one instructor. My biggest criticism is that I find "anti-carb" mentality really annoying. But it's still one of the best exercise videos I've ever seen.
