What can I say, its a saving grace to me really, its just fantastic. This is by far the best support I've ever used. I've been in agonising pain with my left knee for such a long time with a degenerative knee condition, this support enables me to walk more correctly & do less damage to my knee joint. I've always found most supports not to fit me properly as the top of my calves & the lower thigh muscles are enlarged from cycling, but this fits perfectly. loads of adjustment, really comfortable, great support especially preventing sideways twisting. I would rate this product as the best on the market by far!!

This review is for the Mueller HG80 HINGED Knee Brace with Kevlar not the Mueller HG80 Knee Brace with Kevlar which is easily confused in the pictures advertised.
I have had MCL Ligament reconstruction in one knee and ACL damage in the other from surfing and wakeboarding over some years. I have tried so many different types of knee straps and braces with no confidence or comfort gained, until i bought this brace.
First off, it has excellent support with no lateral movement which gives me total confidence when im wakeboarding with high impact jumps/landings. This goes for when im snowboarding and surfing too.
The material is so comfortable, that after 30 min or so you just forget you are wearing them unlike the neoprene (wetsuit) straps/braces.
Its so easy to put on and adjust for comfort. You don't get sweaty rashes or hot and uncomfortable behind your knees.
The only slight downside for me is the velcro straps in water, the do come off but then this product has not been designed for water sport usage and is usually only the top layered strap that comes loose.
Over all this is the best knee brace I have bought, whether it day to day usage or physical exertion, it has given me all the confidence back. I am 110% stoked I have finally found the right knee braces.
If you are looking for support for surfing with a wetsuit, I would recommend the Mueller HG80 Knee Brace without the Hinged support as you would be able to still get your suit over the brace with a bit of effort. Its has double coil springs which run down either side of the knees but do not have the lateral support that the Hinged brace gives. Still more comfortable than any other model out there.

After a bad fall which left me with badly damaged ligaments in my knee, i purchased this knee brace as i was desperate to be able to get out and about once i was back on my feet again. I don't know what i'd have done without it. Wearing it gave me the confidence to move around again and not worry that my knee was going to 'go from under me' again. It was very comfortable to wear and inobtrusive under clothing, after a while i forgot i was wearing it. I would recommend this product to anyone with a knee injury who wants support and comfort to help get on with everyday living while nursing an injury.

Bought this after having an operation on my knee. Have found it very good in supporting my knee whilst playing football.
It is comfortable and soon you forget that you have it on.
After 4 weeks though I have started to feel a slight twinge in my knee after the football. Previously to this I wore an old hinged support will solid metal strips down each side to stabilise the knee and did not have any problems.
I have just ordered another Mueller knee support (hinged type) as I hope this will give me the full confidence that I need.
An area that needs improved is the velcro type pads - sometimes they come apart too easily when running and then the support pieces start to unwrap.

I'm in love in this product, I bought this week ago and wasn't sure this is rigt. But after first impression(so light and "soft") keeping my knee on position without any problems. Fitt well. For football and basketball - is PERFECT. U can forgot that you wearing this item after couple minutes. Strictly recomend this product.
