I brought Kaspersky Internet Security Version 7 following a nightmare trying to load Norton Internet Security version 7 which totally screwed my pc. I took the advice of other customers and tried Kaspersky. It loaded very quickly and without any problems. It picked up 435 viruses which previously had been undetected. You will need to customise the settings but so far I am very impressed. I will not be using Norton again after the problems trying to load their 2007 software.

This software really is the Weapon of Choice when it comes to internet security suites. I was using Norton until my PC became infected with malware which Norton couldn't even detect, let alone fix! Kaspersky 7 detected at least 8 Trojans that Norton had missed, and deleted them effortlessly. You very quickly lose confidence in Norton once you realise it is actually missing things and telling you everything is fine, when it certainly isn't! You will not regret buying this software, it gives you industrial strength protection and instills confidence. Highly reccomended.

I found this product in a review on PC Pro after struggling for many weeks trying to get Norton to recognise Outlook and allow it to download my email. I had used Norton for many years, so was not a novice user. I was very dismayed when I found out through various international websites that Norton appeared to be causing Outlook problems - this happened during June 2007.
I purchased 3 licences for Kaspersky after trying out the trial version. I was very impressed. It uses far less system resources than Norton and goes about it's business very quietly in the background. I had no problems installing the software on the 3 PCs in our household. I personally find it very easy to use and would recommend it to anyone.

My computer's about 5 years old and was pretty slow, so slow I only logged on about once a week and was considering buying a new one and giving the old one to my 7 year old daughter. Time to renew my Norton antivirus subscription (after being a loyal Symantec customer for what seems an eternity), and I read several reviews on rival products. One thing struck me - that Norton tended to hijack a computer system's resources making it run much slower. Could that be my problem? After much procrastination I took the plunge and switched to Kaspersky V.7. Well, it's like having a new computer! It's so much faster and user friendly and for me it has been an install-and-go experience, no problems with installation, activation or anything else. I would certainly recommend anyone considering a switch from Norton to Kaspersky to go right ahead - right now!

I have been using Kaspersky Internet Security 6.0 for about a year and have just upgraded to version 7. I really can't recommend it enough. One of the best anti virus products available. Great firewall. Lot of useful features to improve security. Is surprisingly good at detecting some spyware (though separate antispyware programs are still essential). It's very customizable, so I wouldn't recommend it to inexperienced users. Only problems really are poor anti-spam (which may not matter to some people) and to get the best security you really need to change a lot of the settings, especially the firewall from low to training mode (it really shouldn't have the firewall on low by default). On training mode the firewall does require a lot of user input on which applications should be allowed internet access, which might be annoying for some people. Kaspersky also has excellent help available online and very thorough instructions. I have used lots of different internet security applications over the years (and have "tried" a few more recently), and Kaspersky is by far the best. Definitely deserving of five stars despite a few minor annoyances.
