5 out of 5 stars Great fun and great distraction for little one.   August 4, 2007

Bought one of these last week for my 5 month old. (16lb) Wasn't happy about the price at the time but its worth every penny. He started off just playing with the spinning toys. Its taken him a week to figure out he can bounce in it and he now gleefully jumps up and down for up to an hour! It seems very safe - it has to be because he'd launch himself if he could - and the toys are enough to keep his interest. Tunes can get irritatng but has two volumes or you can turn sound off completely. It takes up a lot of floor space but our front room already looked like a kids playground so who cares. No idea how long the novelty will last, but its great to watch him bouncing and giggling away. Just to be able to get tasks done without worrying about what he's up to every minute makes it a godsend.

My daughter loves this. We chose this as we have two dogs and did not think a door bouncer would be a good idea. This really grows with your baby and creates a safe environment for them to play and even gives you five minutes to do some chores, that is if you can stop yourself from watching your baby amuse themselves! Only down side it is expensive!

I have just got this toy today and it is worth every penny and is a must have for any mum.
My 4 month old son usually gets really bored of all his millions of toys, he absolutly loves his jumparoo.
If you only ever buy one toy for your child this is the one.
I would recommend you buy it when your child is 3 month old or when he/she can hold their head up.
It will last you till your child is 26 pounds which is very good.

5 out of 5 stars Even annoying babies like this!   August 10, 2008

Okay thats a harsh description of my son but its true. I bought this for my eight week old son for two reasons - he needs constant stimulation and he is quite freaky in that he has been holding his head up from birth and gets very frustrated at the majority of toys aimed at his age range that expect him to lie down - which he doesn't like doing.

As long as your baby can support his head then this is fantastic. I did have to hold my breath when I pressed add to basket because of the price but I can see this being used for a long time to go. He very quickly caught on that if he wiggled his legs up and down then the noise came on. He then figured out that if he wiggled his legs and waited until the elephant noise and wiggled again he could make a continous noise with very little effort. I can see the noises it makes driving me mental very quickly but after playing in this and then having a bath he actually slept for eight hours which is a record and was written in the diary with delight.

Also because he is smaller than this toy is intended for he can quite happily gnaw on the seat whilst he is in it then make random grabs at the toys around him.

Buy this for your sanity!

We brought this for our little boy and its worth every penny - he absolutely loves it.
Theres plenty to keep him interested, and when he figured out he could jump - he never looked back.
It give us a time out, knowing our little boys safe, and it tires him out.
The price does seem expensive but its definately worth it!!
