Interesting idea but not the best value for money July 11, 2008

First off, a list of what's in the box:
* A large photo-album sized book of with thick, good-quality blank pages, 2 slots on the front cover, one of which is intended for an ultrasound printout.
* 2 pads of baby-safe ink, one blue and one pink, rather too small to take an average one-year old's foot at one go.
* A set of rubber blocks, each about 15mm x 15mm with a raised alphabet letter (covering English, Cyrillic and Greek) to be used with the ink pads.
I'd be interested to know if it is possible to purchase just the ink by itself, but for the rest, I can't see myself going through the pain of using the little rubber blocks very frequently.
It's an interesting idea to be able to have all of your baby's prints (and potentially some other artwork) together in one album, and I like the baby-safe ink pads, but I would rather think that a similar kit could be put together for half the price that is being asked.
