He is cute, he is adorable, you can make him sleep by cuddling him. But the battery life is short (1 hour per 3 hr charge). Ideally I would have wanted to leave him on all day to learn so when I returned home he could greet me, but obviously that is not possible. I'd get a second battery if they were for sale.

This is a fantastic piece of engineering. It is a little slow in its normal learning mode, but you can reprogram it so it takes commands from an SD card. You can replace any of the built-in sounds with your own recorded voice or music. Free software is available to do this.

Got my pleo on the 22nd december all i can say is wow.Never thought you could get attatched to a load of microproccesers and gear mechanisms but i can assure you that once you get it out the box you will see what all the fuss is about for more info on this product go to www.pleoworld.com

I bought my Pleo a little under two months ago. The paint is now wearing from the skin, the teeth are chipping the white paint and it only walks in circles (1m diameter). Apparently this is common accross the range. There must be serious doubts to the build quality.
