Transformers Premium Bumblebee September 30, 2008 Adam (UK) Michael Bay's Transformers was a hit amongst fans and new youngsters. The premium toys, is probably made for collectors who like detail and those who want a better Bumblebee (or the battle version head). The pictures shown are very detailed and smooth, but, the actual product is never like the pictures. - Detail, the Camero, close to the movie counterpart 9/10. Robot mode, not detailed to the movie counterpart because of transformation features or so. Robot mode - 7/10 - Paint, its painted in a nice yellow, extra detail here and there. The job of painting the figures is fairly poor in some parts, the body work of the Camero has 2-3 paint blocks (over use of paint), missed paint areas which is visible (especially at the clear windows), etc. But still, its worth to buy. Not all product are bad, its probably just the one I have. 7/10 - Transformation, relatively easy, transforms the same as the non-premium figure. Kids over the age of 6 should find it easy to change Bumblebee from robot mode and car mode. 9/10 - Articulation, posing is good, although you may not be able to pose Bumblebee in some nice poses you see in the movie. Its a lot better than older transformers toys, like the yellow car from the Armada series. People who are not to bothered with the paint job with the toy should get it, after all its slightly better than the non-premium. If I was a Tranformers toy collector, I'd probably skip this figure and go for the normal toy to do some paint detailing instead (Which Is what I plan to do with the Premium instead).
