Product Description The Numbers Strategy Game that's never the same! The fast-paced game of tile manipulation that challenges each player's wit against the other. The object of the game is to be the first player to go Rummikub by using all tiles in Runs or Groups and accumulating the highest score. One of the world's most compulsive family games, like all the best it's easy to learn and a challenge to master! An opportunity for parents and older children to bond and improve co-ordination and mathematics skills. You can't beat this game for playability and value for money. I thoroughly recommend it - Managing Director
Amazon.co.uk Review With rules similar to gin rummy, Rummikub is a classic tile game that's guaranteed to get at least a million kid-hours of use in any family. Players take 14 numbered tiles and try to get rid of them as fast as possible by creating runs (for example, 7-8-9) and sets (7-7-7). The most fun aspect of the game--and the part that's best for creative strategic thinking--is that you can pilfer from and rearrange the efforts of other players in your attempts to part company with more tiles. --Richard Farr

Brilliantly simple, simply brilliant October 4, 2005 29 out of 30 found this review helpful
My daughter started playing this when she was 6 and a year later she is now learning the finer points of the game. She enjoys it just as much as her grandfather does. A great, non-gimmicky game.
Great Game for the Entire Family August 14, 2003 Mark Baker (Santa Clarita, CA United States) 53 out of 57 found this review helpful
This game is deceptively simple. You start with 14 tiles, and your goal is to meld all your tiles in groups of at least three, either three of a kind (3 fives, for example) or in a run (4, 5, and 6). Just like the card game rummy, right? The twist comes when you start rearranging tiles. As long as you leave at least three tiles together, you can do whatever you want with the tiles already laid down by any person playing the game. Before too long, strategy becomes hard because the person before you is sure to rearrange the tiles you needed in such a way that they are no longer available. Then again, they may lay down the one piece that you needed to win.I've been playing this game with my family for years. It's a blast because it's so completely different every time, and everyone has a chance to win. You might need to help small kids when they first learn how to play, but soon, they will be able to play and hold their own against adults. I highly recommend this fun game. It'll give you hours of entertainment with family and friends.
Addictive December 1, 2001 17 out of 18 found this review helpful
We were introduced to this game on New Years Day. On 2nd January, I was out scouring the shops as I was so desperate to play it again. The kids (7 and 11) love it too, and more importantly, its about the only game I'm good at and can actually win!!
An excellent family game March 2, 2006 Tealady2000 (Edinburgh) 25 out of 28 found this review helpful
Rummikub is a great family game, and although there are numbers on the tiles it's not about sums, it's about making and manipulating number sequences. You are trying to get rid of your tiles, but you can only lay them on the table in certain combinations. The twist is that you can borrow tiles from sequences that are already on the table so as the game progresses the possibilities get more and more complicated. The rules are simple but kids under 10 might need a grown-up to help them spot some of the more tricky manipulations - watch out though because once your kids have got the hang of it, they will beat you!! A highly absorbing game for all ages.

What an excellent family game! We all played - from 10 years old to 70 years old (and the 10 year old won hands down!!) I was constantly surprised at the different combinations which could appear - play it and see!!
