Way over priced May 26, 2008 Sk17 (Cardiff) 17 out of 19 found this review helpful
13.99 - your having a laugh. I just bought 4 of these from Argos at 6.99. Take note 6.99 is the rrp as seen on the official Nintendo website. Game is the best yet and the wheel makes it much easier. Also the official wheel is better than the other brands. Top marks for the product - no marks for the price.
Official Nintendo Wii Wheel April 15, 2008 Mr. A. Pepper (Cardiff, Wales) 11 out of 12 found this review helpful
I've experiemented with playing Mario Kart Wii, with and without the wheel, but I find the wheel does make things more fun! There's not much to it really, but the remote fits snugly in and there is a trigger on the reverse of the steering wheel which presses the B trigger when driving (drift and slide button). You can play with just the remote, but I found my right thumb got more cramped, and the slide buttons were more uncomfortable to reach. The wheel gives you something to grip, and also keeps the remote more level. I haven't tried it with the Game cube controller, or the Remote/Nunchuck set up, as I wanted to get used to the tilt sensor. It could well be that you'll achieve faster lap times by using the traditional controls....but I hope that isn't so. Nintendo need to be commended once again for being innovative and intuitive at the same time. I only wish I could purchase another wheel, but they're sold out everywhere!!
Great! August 9, 2008 Mr. Philip G. Sorrell (Littlehampton (UK)) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
The official wii wheel is by far the best wheel for wii out there, and it makes games like mario kart wii seem more realilstic and comftable to use. also the blue ring on the back adds style and colour 5/5
GO TO HMV! They're 6.99! May 31, 2008 T. Clarke (UK) 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
Just thought I'd let everyone know that I've seen the Wii Wheels in HMV for an amazing 6.99! In fact I was that impressed I bought 2, which funnily enough works out the same price as Nintendo's original RRP. Obviously if you own Mario Kart then I need not say much more; the Wheel comes boxed in packaging similar to that of the game, is packed well with the typical 'precautions' booklet... I highly suggest if you're wanting a Wii Wheel that you go to HMV or shop around; paying over a tenner for what it basically is; a plastic wheel, is outrageous.
