But i think roughly only 1 note in every 100 are dropped, depending on the speed of the hits. I played "Behind Blue Eyes" to test these pads properly as the song has 2 minutes without drums, effectively giving you freestyle drums for that time. I played drums rolls and odd beats were missed, but only as i was playing softer and faster. With just a steady beat the drums connected with every hit. You do have to play harder then before but i think the majority wont have a problem. You have to weigh up whether ud prefer to have quieter sound when playing, and next to no damage to the drums, or have the sensitivity that bit better but having that loud irritating sound. Also i must note that the pads are so easy to get on and off that if you want to go for 100% on a song... just take them off! for 10 i think its worth it, they are very well made.
