Product Description Hop, skip, jump or run, the HR102 heart rate watch from Oregon will measure your heart rate while you exercise thanks to its wireless pectoral strap. The HR102 heart rate watch will let you establish your own training program by zone and the sound alert system will tell you when you have reached your maximum and minimum programmed limits. The HR102 functions as a watch with a calendar and alarm. It also allows you to see your personal data which is made easy by its backlit face.In order to withstand different training conditions, the HR102 heart rate watch is waterproof at up to 3 bars and its pectoral strap resists water splashes!

Excellent March 16, 2007 Colin Clitheroe (Hants) 25 out of 25 found this review helpful
As an ex fitness instructor I can recomend this item, does all you would want and for less than you should expect to pay. Its as good as any I have used in a gym before and its simple to use. One of my best buys.
Oregon onto a winner here December 11, 2007 ilienastazy (Cumbria) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I've tried other more expensive monitors from the likes of (rhymes with) molar and (rhymes with) fat pie, and can say this is the best one I've had to date. This beauty has a lovely blue backlight (for those of you who want to know how your heart is doing in the dark) easily accessed by a sensibly placed button on the front of the watch, a stopwatch, time of day (always useful), upper and lower HR zones with audible alarm if you stray out of your preprogrammed limits (you can switch this function off). Everything is easily set up (study the manual carefully), the chest strap/transmitter are comfortable though you do have to have it fairly tight on, especially if you're running. Comes with a bike mount (which is a definate plus) and a zipped carry pouch to keep it all in. All this for under 20 quid - brilliant.
Value For Money February 6, 2008 J. Francis 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
My first heart rate monitor and it does exactly what I need. Allows me to set upper and lower bounds between which I want to train. Chest monitor also drives the heart rate display on the machines at the gym. Excellent.
So far so good January 2, 2008 M. Cronin (UK) 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
Very pleased with delivery time, especially as it was just before Christmas - Special Delivery at no extra cost! Unit very easy to operate; extremely responsive to changes in HR. Let's hope tgis continues to be the case, and many useful sessions will follow. Happy new year to all!
Great HRM for price February 6, 2007 P. Wimpenny 36 out of 36 found this review helpful
This Oregon HRM is a bargain at this price and records an accurate heart rate direct from a chest strap so that you can keep within a safe range of excercise for your age. When you have manually entered your minumum and maximum heart rate (formula given in the instructions) you can set an alarm to warn you when you are under and overperforming in the gym. It also has a stopwatch and cool blue light. Most of these entry level HRTs start at about 30 so I would recommend this. You won't be disappointed.
