Good quality April 9, 2005 LFF12 (Cork, Ireland) 82 out of 83 found this review helpful
I bought this to replace a cheap branded juicer I'd got in Argos, in which the motor went after really not a lot of use. I was disappointed with the previous juicer as I found it extracted poorly, and left with a large amount of wet pulp.So this was a very pleasant surprise. It extracts a lot more juice than my old juicer, and leaves a lot less and almost dry pulp. I feel I'm getting a lot more out of the juicer. In fact most juice recipies I now find create way too much for one person - which can only be a good thing. Its particularly good with hard fruits carrots, celery and even fennel juiced nicely giving plenty of juice. Its great with cucumbers and apples also and the juice from an orange is really smooth and pleasant and more plentiful than even my hand operated citrus juicer. The only thing that didn't juice very well was kiwis. Its not the easiest thing in the world to clean but i found that rinsing in hot water cleaned everything bar the mesh filter, which requires a good scrub with a brush. Otherwise very happy with the item. The price reduction is excellent value as it has a 400watt motor which is pretty good for harder fruits and veg.
Value for money!! February 22, 2005 Craig Keenan (Coventry, West Mids United Kingdom) 67 out of 68 found this review helpful
I took delivery of this a few days ago and can heartily recommend it for anyone wanting a simple to use juicer at a very reasonable price I really can't complain. The juicer is easy to use, compact, reasonably quiet and fairly easy to clean armed with water and a dishcloth, let alone a dishwasher - you gotta expect some mess given that the centrifuge spins at lots of revolutions per second. I've tried both hard and soft fruits/vegetables and all have worked well. The juice collector has a section that prevents the foam/surface debris from being dispensed too! Finally, while I really don't attach too much importance to the thickness of the paper in the accompanying book, the puns are terrible and only just bearable (as another reviewer mentioned).

This is the first juicer i ever bought & i am very very pleased with it. First rule is to BUY a TOOTHBRUSH or small nail brush to clean the mesh - it makes it so much easier, only takes a few seconds. 2nd rule - clean immediately after use, a quick run under a hot tap is all it needs Its very easy to use & I've found I can make a large jug of juice & clean the machine all within 10 minutes the juice is amazing & the book is well worth reading, it has lots of interesting info regarding the benefits of each fruit & vegetable It certainly has me hooked!!

I am a first time juicer, due to medical reasons. I bought this juicer after reading the reviews and was not dissappointed.Cleaning is simple, do as the free book says, put the parts in some warm water straight away, drink your juice, then rinse the parts clean, apart from the sieve which you need to use a brush on. Have read the book and found it very informative and a good guide but tend to do my own simple veg juices. I recommend this machine as it is easy to use and easy to clean.
