I got mine for my 6 month old son. We live in a flat on a main road, opposite a hospital and next to a train line! (should be moving in a few weeks though ;) ) anywhoo..
I thought it would be good to get the air a put cleaner in his room as I noticed that you could smell the fumes from the train whenever it went past.
I switched it on in my sons nursery and went out. A few hours later I returned, and I just noticed that it was "different" air in there, it felt cooler, and well, just nicer to breathe.
The design I think is a bit girly, but never mind, he doesn't know that.
It's quite small and I have put it on his shelf. Super quiet. After reading alot about purifiers, some people have moaned about the noise they make, well, it really doesn't bother me, my laptop fan is nosier!
You get an apple scented filter, or the normal (I like the normal one)
I have asthma, and was in ICU a few years back from respiratory failure, so lets say I am very "sensitive" about the air around me.
I think it is well worth it. I have ordered an airfree one for my living room, as it has made alot of difference in my sons nursery!
