Arms and legs October 6, 2008 Iain (Sweden) 0 out of 3 found this review helpful
I don't know why there is so much negative comment about this item. It is perfect for anyone who wants to crush an arm. I expect it could also crush legs and other anatomical parts if properly applied.
Does the job for me! September 3, 2007 Mark (Berkshire) 20 out of 20 found this review helpful
I've had a couple of these and each one lasted over a year, for something that costs around a tenner you cant expect it to perform miracles or last forever. Wall mount it, grease it and gently press the can into the crusher denting it a bit before crushing. Don't try and crush steel cans, its only designed to crush aluminium drinks cans.
Needs lubrication & wall mounted. February 10, 2007 D. Parker (Cumbria, UK.) 25 out of 25 found this review helpful
I was a little disappointed with this at first as the handle seemed really flimsy and got stuck in the down position first time I tried to use it and nearly bent it trying to move it back up. Then I found it worked 10x better by applying a little light grease to the up / down slider. The instructions on the box give the impression that wall mounting is optional, to be honest I wouldn't attempt to use it if it wasn't wall mounted its surprising how much force is need to crush a can. So for best results from this product wall mount it and grease the slider, that way you will get trouble free use.
Not for tin/steel cans January 24, 2008 PhilG (Sunderland, UK) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Maybee my fault for not researching enough but I assumed ordinary cans would be a pushover. The bottom shelf bent right down after 10 or so cans. I've put two self tapping screws above the bottom platform from front to back. Cut them off from the back and put in a fillet of metal glue to hold the screws and bottom shelf. See how it goes but I suspect i'll be back for the foot crusher before long.
